SERVICE
AFTERCARE
LASH EXTENSIONS
Avoid getting lash extensions wet for the first 24 hours after the initial set & after each fill appointment.
Avoid swimming, saunas, or steam rooms for the first 48 hours after initial set & after each fill appointment.
Avoid oil-based eye products, as these will loosen the bond of your extensions. Such as: waterproof mascara, waterproof eyeliner, oily eye creams or serums, cream eye shadow, oil-containing face cleanser & oily moisturizer.
Avoid products on and around the eyes containing Ethylhexylglycerin, Dimethicone & Dimethicone Compounds, Shea Butter, Safflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Mineral Oil, or any Oils.
For best retention, please avoid mascara and eyeliner completely. If you need an eyeliner option, the safest is to use a black eye shadow with a tiny angle brush.
Always come to your scheduled appointment with thoroughly cleansed eyes that are clear of all traces of any makeup. Eye make-up build-up can significantly affect lash retention, and we don't have time to pick through it. This could lead to increase service charge or possibly rescheduling for a new set.
If you experience any signs of irritation, contact Allure Lash Studio immediately. You may be allergic to lash extensions and need to have them removed.
Do not tug, twist, pick, or pull your lashes or lash extensions.
Keep your fingers off your lashes. Every time you touch them, you transfer natural oils and germs.
Do not use an eyelash curler, perm, or tint your lash extensions.
To prolong the life of your lashes and encourage growth, use our cleanser that's formulated specifically for extensions 2x daily & our oil-free makeup remover formulated for lash extensions & gently pat dry.
Do not try to remove lash extensions on your own; please book a lash removal online to have them safely taken off to avoid harming your natural lashes.
Lash fill appointments should be booked every 2-3 weeks to replace any outgrown lashes. For one single day over 3 weeks, a new set must be reserved. The perfect time for a fill appointment is before you lose no more than 40%-50% of your extensions.
LASH LIFT
Do not use strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours.
Avoid waterproof mascara & products containing oil on & around eyes.
Avoid putting contact lenses back in for the rest of the day.
Avoid hot steamy showers, saunas, or sleeping on lashes for 48 hours.
Do not wash your hair for 24 hours, as shampoos & conditioners can cause a lash lift to relax.
Do not rub or play with lashes.
If any irritation occurs, apply a clean, cold wet compress. If irritation continues, contact a doctor.
Lash Lift service can be performed every 6-8 weeks, no sooner.
TINT
Do not touch or rub eyes, lashes, or brows immediately after treatment.
If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool, damp compress. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, seek medical advice.
Avoid putting contact lenses back in for the rest of the day.
The effects of the tint will start to diminish within 2-3 weeks as hair grows out & tint color fades. Strong sunlight/UV light can make the tint fade faster.
Avoid washing your hair, eyelids, or brows, and swimming for 24 hours. Also, avoid exfoliating facial cleansers, especially ones containing AHA's.
Do not apply makeup or mascara to lashes or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours.
Try to use oil-free facial products around the area to prolong the tint.
You can receive lash & brow tinting every 3-4 weeks.
